Capturing sound for remote consultations

There are many different solutions out there that can be used for conducting a remote patient consultation over phone or video. Tandem now supports capturing the system sound from all of these solutions with high quality - without any additional integrations needed! This works regardless if you’re using speaker mode or a headset. Just use Tandem as you normally would, and everything will work seamlessly now also for remote consultations.

Improving ease of access

By running Tandem as a desktop application, you always have easy access to Tandem directly via your taskbar. No more searching needed among all your browser windows and tabs to find Tandem! This also means that Tandem can now start automatically with your computer, to make it even smoother to begin using Tandem every morning.

Making installation simpler to enable note transfer to desktop EHRs

Our default approach for automatically transferring notes from Tandem to your desktop EHR is via RPA (Robot Processing Automation), a fancy way to say “smart copy paste”. This means that no additional integration with your EHR is required, beyond installing our plugin. We have now packaged this plugin into the Tandem Native application, rather than being a separate program. Tandem Native is also a Microsoft certified Windows application, that can be easily installed in a couple of seconds. Additionally, the app will automatically keep itself up to date, to ensure you automatically get access to further improvements we release.

To use Tandem Native, simply download the desktop application after logging in to Tandem.
