A natural step toward a more connected care flow
Aurora Innovation and Tandem Health have entered a partnership that connects Aurora teleQ, one of the most widely used patient communication platforms in Swedish healthcare, with Tandem Health's medical AI assistant for clinical notes. The integration has already launched and is available today to healthcare providers in Sweden who use Aurora teleQ. The goal is to free up time for what actually matters: the meeting with the patient, by significantly cutting the time currently spent documenting what was said during a call or visit, without healthcare staff having to leave their usual workflow.
What the integration means
Many healthcare providers already manage their patient communication, phone calls, callbacks, video and other contact, through Aurora teleQ. Through the partnership, that contact can now be connected directly to Tandem, which listens, structures, and writes clinical notes based on the call or meeting.
The integration works regardless of whether staff use a softphone or a physical phone with no connection to the computer. This means no computer-integrated setup is required to benefit from Tandem alongside Aurora teleQ – staff can simply call as usual.
In practice, this means that healthcare staff who already use Aurora teleQ as their patient communication platform can add Tandem for help with clinical documentation, without having to switch between several separate tools or enter the same information twice.
